Winter Sunset 031019-1
Few clouds crossed the sky allowing the autumn sun warm the earth. Late October or was it November, not sure but natures color show was over leaving behind bleak shades of brown and gray.
However, this day I was rewarded by a breath taking sunset. The night chill paralleled setting sun as it descended towards the horizon.
Most of my paintings emphasize the serine aspect of nature for its calming effect, which helps relieve stress and defuses my Parkinson's symptoms. Many people do not realize that those suffering from Parkinson's are fighting two battles. Physical, which is visible and therefore easier to understand, but there is also a mental side of PD which is more difficult for people to understand and harder for the patient to fight.
